Vintage, restored — पुनर्स्थापना
The Mitesh began with a simple belief: that the prints, weaves and hands of old India belong in the present tense.
The workshop
Made slowly, in Noida
Every piece starts in the archive — stamp engravings, miniature paintings, borders from textiles that have outlived their makers. We redraw them by hand, print them on handloom cloth, and cut them into silhouettes made for now.
Nothing is mass-run. Small batches, corozo buttons, single-needle seams. When a print sells through, it is retired.
We work slowly, on purpose. Fabrics are chosen for how they age, not how they photograph. Patterns are adjusted by hand, details refined over multiple samples, and every garment is made to be worn often and kept for years.
The aim is not nostalgia, but continuity — carrying fragments of craft and history into everyday wardrobes without losing their character.

Hand-set prints, handloom fabric, finishing that rewards a second look. The kind of making that cannot be hurried.
Heritage
Our archive is Indian memory — engravings, stamps and court paintings, restored and worn rather than framed.
Responsibility
Small batches, natural fibres, and fair hands. We would rather make fewer, better things.
How a piece is made
The archive
We collect engravings, stamps and textile borders — most of them older than anyone who still remembers them.
The redraw
Each motif is drawn again by hand, so the line stays human rather than scanned and flattened.
The print
Placed by hand onto handloom cloth. No two lengths sit identically, which is the point.
The finish
Cut, single-needle stitched and pressed in our own workshop. Corozo buttons, bound seams, no shortcuts.
The people
The hands behind it
Our workshop is small on purpose. Printers, cutters and tailors who have spent decades with these techniques, working at a pace that lets them be exacting.
We pay by the piece and by the skill, not by the hour. It makes the clothes more expensive and considerably better.
Wear something with a memory in it
Each print is retired once it sells through.
