Restraint is the hardest discipline in design. Anything can be added; knowing what to leave out is the work.
We begin every season by asking what the wardrobe is missing, not what the calendar demands. More often than not the answer is nothing, and we cut a smaller collection.
A shorter list
Fewer styles means more attention on each one. A pattern gets a third fitting. A seam gets finished the slow way, because there is time to do it.

Built to be kept
A garment that lasts a decade is worth four that last a season, and costs less over its life. That arithmetic sits behind every price we set.
Less, but better. It is a harder way to work and a simpler thing to wear.
